A must read considering the little blue book lakoff political climate. Important for everyone on the left to know so that we can have greater effectiveness in presenting our positions. From a conservative perspective, nearly all taxation is governmental oppression, and therefore immoral, but purchasing is perfectly fine because it is based in the market, and conservatives have a moral preference for the market.

Messaging is about thinking, not just language. I think most of the terms suggested here to replace commonly laklff terms in public discourse border on ridiculous and won’t ever come into play.
